by JournalLive
The Teletubbies are back – so Let’s Dance! Reunited for a major tour in the UK – Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po – are set to lift the roof as their dance show kicks off.
Children (and parents!) will be able to boogie on down – for FREE – with the fun-loving four at the MetroCentre, Gateshead on 18th September.
The tour, a first for the famous characters, will see them perform their most popular dances in interactive shows running several times a day.
Furthermore, intent on replicating the success of their massive No. 1 hit ‘Teletubbies say Eh-Oh’– Tinky Winky, Dispy, Laa-Laa and Po have confirmed the release of a brand new dance remix and animated video of ‘Follow My Leader’.
Their new material will be available to download from iTunes and other leading digital stores from 24th August, followed by the re-release of their hugely successful album on 7th September which will feature bonus remixes.
The tour also coincides with the release of the BBC Children’s DVD ‘Ready Steady Dance’ on September 7th which will feature children’s favourite dances and exercises, as well as the new dance remix of ‘Follow My Leader’ which sees the Teletubbies brought to life in animation for the very first time.
The Teletubbies will be performing another 10 dates around the UK between Thursday 10th September and Sunday 18th October and are visiting the MetroCentre on the 18th September. For further information on the tour and new dance content, go to www.teletubbies.co.uk
