LET’S hope the fine weather holds as theatre heads outdoors in the next seven days.

You can enjoy Shakespeare’s TAMING OF THE SHREW at Mount Grace Priory near Northallerton tomorrow.

English Heritage’s events manager Jon Hogan says: “This is perhaps Shakespeare’s most clever and sophisticated comedy guaranteed to be an hilarious summer evening.

“Bring your chairs, picnics, wine and friends and enjoy an enchanting evening of outdoor theatre at its best.”

Gates open at 6.45pm, performance starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £11 with concs and children £9 (booked in advance) or £13/£11 concs and children on the night. Details on 01609 883494.

 

 

:: THE next installment of Middlesbrough’s outdoor theatre season takes place on Thursday July 9.

Children’s favourite THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS is be to performed at mima gardens - between mima and the Central Library - at 6.30pm.

Other shows in the season include A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM on August 13 and BABE THE SHEEP PIG on August 26.

 

 

:: REDCAR & Cleveland Council is bringing an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s MOWGLI to Gisborough Priory on Thursday july 9 for two special performances at 1pm and 7pm.
