JULIAN CLARY has extended his hugely popular 2009 Lord of the Mince tour by massive public demand and is due to play Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt on Sunday, February 7.
A big part of the groundbreaking ’80s comedy explosion and still one of the best live comics around today, Julian is loved by millions thanks to huge TV hits including Friday Night Live and Sticky Moments.
His big theatre credits include Boy George’s memorable West End musical Taboo and Cabaret at London’s Lyric Theatre.
Also a best selling writer, his autobiography A Young Man’s Passage and his first novel Murder Most Fab both proved big hits on the bookshelves.
Julian celebrated hitting 50 last year and turned it into a major theme of his brilliant new live show.
He says: “I’m 50. The shame of it. This will be an intimate evening - a celebration, no less, of my 25 years in the camp spotlight: how I got there and why I refuse to leave.”
Tickets are £20/£18 details on 01642 729729.
