Sean HughesSEAN HUGHES has extended his critically acclaimed tour by huge public demand - and he’s heading for Teesside.

Star of The Last Detective (ITV), Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC) and Sean’s Show (Channel 4), Hughes’ dark, explosive style and quickfire audience banter has made him a household name.

You have a chance to see exactly why when the comic plays Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt on Saturday, February 27.

Recognised as one of the UK’s finest stand-ups, he became the youngest comedian ever to win the Perrier award following his Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut in 1990.

Several accolades, awards and sell-out tours later, he is now equally respected as an actor, presenter and author - having produced two novels plus two collections of prose and poetry.

Sean returns to his first love of comedy with his tour What I Meant To Say Was…

Having originally come to the conclusion he had nothing more left to say as a stand-up, Hughes found himself still baffled by life - and with surprisingly lots more to say.

The new show sees Sean back at the top of his game and poised to show exactly why he is recognised by audiences and critics alike as one of the most cutting edge and original comics working in the UK today.

Tickets are £15, details on 01642 729729.
