Monaco

Monaco is situated in the centre of Bishop Aukland's Market Place, on the site formerly known as Harvey's. Harvey opened in the 80's and was an instant success as the first wine bar in town.

It was taken over and refit in 2000 and re-opened it's doors as Monaco. Since then, it has established itself as one of the most popular drinking venues on the Bishop Aukland drinking circuit.

During the day, Monaco offers quality, traditional meals at very reasonable prices, with very experienced and friendly staff to cater for your needs.

Every other Wednesday night, for the alternative crowd, Monaco holds a Rock Night from 7pm - 11pm, which is always welcoming up and coming rock bands.

Every Thursday evening, Monaco benefits from a late license, 2 resident DJs, who play a full variety of music to the request of the customers, and don't forget, you can also text the DJ with your request.

On Friday evenings Monaco is currently trialing a Rodeo Bull, which is proving to be very popular. Have a go and see how long you can stay on for!!

Saturday night is still the most popular night, with DJ Vespa playing a quality range of music, from Old Skool to present day.

Finish off your weekend on Sunday with drinks promos to knock your socks off and music to shake your tail feather.
